Compact Orifice Flow Meter

Our specialized compact meter is a stand alone orifice based flow meter with a difference-its advanced design greatly simplifies installation and commissioning. Compact orifice flow meter combines a wafer mounted orifice carrier, integral manifold and transmitter into a single, fully-codable, orifice based flow meter. This compact meter is available in two versions-one for volumetric flow and one for mass (or corrected volume) flow.

Compact Wedge Flow Meter

Our specialized meter is a wedge based flow meter designed to greatly simplify installation and commissioning. The one-piece flow meter assembly features wedge meter element with a choice of pipe sizes, Integral 3 valve instrument manifold, Integral DP or multivariable transmitter and is fully leak tested. The Plugged Impulse Line Detection (PLD) feature generates a warning via HART communication if either or both of the impulse lines become fully or partially obstructed. Featuring new “Through The Glass” (TTG) keypad technology enables configuration without the need to remove transmitter covers, even in hazardous areas. Two different models are available for measurement of volumetric flow or either the mass flow.

Compact Averaging Pitot Flow Meter

Our Compact Averaging Pitot Flow Meter combines a threaded or flanged mounted insertion meter, an integral 3 or 5 valve manifold and transmitter into a single, fully codable insertion flow meter. This compact flow meter utilizes DP and multivariable transmitters, all of which have optional Through The Glass technology, offering meter configuration without the need to remove the transmitter cover. In addition, there is an option of an alloy or stainless-steel body. Being an insertion meter, it can be easily installed into existing pipelines, together with very low overall pressure losses. Pitot flow meter is available in two version: compact flow meter for general purpose measurement of liquid, gases and steam in volumetric units and a compact pitot flow meter giving measurement directly in mass or corrected volume units for liquids and steam.

Dual Chamber Orifice Fitting

Dual Chamber Orifice is a proven system for safely and quickly inspecting and changing orifice plates. Orifice meters used in oil and gas industry are typically of either the single chamber or dual-chamber design. Dual chamber orifice fittings have an extra chamber into which the orifice plate is first withdrawn, this chamber is then isolated from the pipeline. This means that flow in pipeline does not have to be necessarily stopped to enable the removal and refitting of the orifice plate and although the second chamber must be vented, there is no requirement to vent the pipeline section.

Double Block & Bleed, Dual Chamber Orifice Fitting

Dual chamber orifice fitting with double block and bleed isolation (DBB) is suitable for fiscal (custody transfer) applications in locations where proven isolation is required and pipeline will not/cannot be shut down (or bypassed and isolated) or depressurized for service. Our specialized dual insulation, with two independent chamber seals, ensures maximum safety during live orifice plate changes or during routine inspection.

Orifice Plates

Flow measurement plates to fit between RF, FF or RTJ flanges. Our specialized flow measurement orifice plates are available with a variety of profiles to handle a wide range of applications from clean fluids and low viscosity liquids through to dirty fluids and high viscosity liquids. They are usually supplied with a data tab welded to (or integral with) the circumference. On this tab can be engraved information such as Tag Number and orifice plate bore, all of which are visible without removing the plate from the bore. Available as concentric (square edged, conical entrance, and quarter cycle profile) or Eccentric (eccentric and segmental profile) designs to measure the flow of clean or contaminated liquids, gases or steam.

Orifice Flange Assemblies

Weld-in Orifice Flange Unions/Assemblies to fit between RF, FF or RTJ flanges. Orifice flanges includes DP Tapping points, and are supplied with the necessary orifice plate, gaskets, nuts, bolts and jacking screws, designed to measure the flow of clean or contaminated liquids, gases or steam.

Restriction Orifice Plates

Restriction Orifice Plates are used where there is a requirement either to reduce the line pressure or alternatively to restrict the flow rate to a certain value. Our restriction plate has an orifice bore (and plate thickness) that is calculated to achieve the required restriction to the flow rate or pressure drop whilst maintaining plate integrity. A multi-restriction assembly, consisting of several plates in series, can be engineered for use where the required pressure drop cannot be achieved across a single plate. Our restriction plates and assemblies are available in wide range of materials to suit the process conditions.

Wedge Meter Flow Element

Wedge flow elements utilize V-shaped restrictions to produce a square root relationship between differential pressure and volumetric flow. The differential pressure is measured by differential pressure transmitter. Various process connections on the wedge are provided for either pneumatic or electronic transmitters or other differential pressure sensing devices. The flow element consists of a body and wedge flow restriction. This restriction creates a differential pressure in proportion to the square of the volumetric flow rate. Our specialized wedge restriction has no critical surface dimensions or sharp edges, that will affect the measurement accuracy as a result of normally expected wear.
