Quality Control measurement

Lab Measurement

Our products combine the internationally accepted determination of dissolved CO2 content with a highly accurate dissolved O2. In addition to basic parameters of oxygen and carbon dioxide, our systems can be extended for alcohol, turbidity, pH value to meet specific requirements.

Automatic TPO Meter

In the beverage industry, oxygen is an important gas. Preventing O2 pick ups during the entire production and packaging process is of paramount importance. As a result, beverages are produced with very low dissolved oxygen levels (DO), to achieve consistent quality and high flavor stability during the product’s shelf life. Beyond traditional TPO measurement methods and instruments, the TPO measures the headspace O2 nearby the filler, while at the same time the liquid remains in the package and is not consumed by the instrument. Sample preparation time is skipped and lab space is minimized. Our Automatic TPO meter can be used for filling applicable in breweries and soft drink industries.

Automatic TPO/CO2 Meter

Our Automatic TPO/CO2 meter provides differentiated measurement of headspace O2 and DO provides immediate insight into the performance of filling operation. The instrument is suited for most common sizes of bottles and cans. Our Automatic TPO meter can be used for filling applicable in breweries and soft drink industries.

Automatic Package Content Analysis System

Our specialized Automator provides a tailor made system for automatic package content analysis. Auto sampler is a crucial feature of Automator as it eliminates the need for the samples to be put into device separately and be processed one by one. After the sample is loaded onto the autosampler, sample processing is fully automatic, which significantly reduce the labor requirements and enables the operator to take care of primary packaging process. Featuring our proven measuring technology, several product properties are analyzed in one measuring cycle. This results in more information with less effort and provides immediate insight into the filling operation performance. Automatic Package Content Analysis System can be used in Filling department in food and beverage industries.

Gauge Calibration Device

In the beverage industry, the content of dissolved CO2 is a determining factor for product’s quality. It is equally important, however, to ensure that various measuring instruments function accurately. As the determination of CO2 content depends on measuring both equilibrium pressure and temperature, a reliable pressure measurement is required. Our calibration device is a dedicated precision instrument for calibrating pressure gauges and digital pressure sensors. Universally applicable, it can be used for all kinds of pressure calibrations and is compliant with international standards.

CO2 Meter

In the beverage industries, the content of dissolved CO2 is a determining factor in the quality and taste of carbonated beverages. Because of this, breweries as well as soft drink manufacturers continuously control and measure the CO2 quantity of bottled and canned beverages. The Digital CO2 meter is a user-friendly device which allows reliable and fast determination of equilibrium pressure. The equilibrium is created by shaking the container manually before or after the sample is pierced, then the pressure is measured and displayed. It can be used in laboratory operation with cans and bottles of different sizes.

Air Meter

Air Meter is used to determine the air content in the headspace volume as well as total air content in the beverage, in combination with CO2 meter. The principle is based on carbon dioxide absorption by the caustic. By measuring the air volume in the container, the O2 content can be determined. Breweries as well as soft drink manufacturers continuously control and measure the concentration of air after filling.

Non-Invasive CO2 Measurement

Non-Invasive CO2 measurement is an advanced solution for CO2 measurement in the filled package. Using an innovative laser technology, our CO2 Selector measures the partial CO2 pressure and total pressure of the head space and accurately determines the dissolved CO2 content in the package. Piercing is not required to perform the measurement. The bottle is not destructed and no product is lost. Only few minutes are required to prepare the package by shaking it to equilibrium and performing the measurement. The procedure is simple and repeatable, which allows for unlimited no. of  CO2 measurements to be conducted on the same package.

Foam Stability Tester

The quality and behavior of beverage foam is a major determining factor in the appearance of an excellent beverage. Our Foam Stability Tester, measures the foam collapse time over a distance of 30mm. Equipped with product identification and memory, the FOAM stability tester allows for traceability of measuring data and up to eight different product types can be programmed into the tester. After filling the glass with highly reproduceable foam created with our sampling device, the glass is placed in the instrument where foam collapse time will automatically measured. Subsequently, the results are displayed and transferred to a PC.

Turbidity Meter

Turbidity is one of the most important acceptance criteria for consumers and an important indicator to predict the packaged product’s shelf life. Our Turbidity meter is an easy to use and reliable instrument to measure the turbidity during production and after filling. Particles smaller than 1 μm, such as proteins, mainly cause side-scattered light and are measured at 90°. Particles larger than 1 μm, such as diatomaceous earth (DE) and yeast, mainly cause forward-scattered light and are measured at 25°. The dual angle measurement provides operators with fast and reliable insight on the condition of the measured product. This allows for a quick response to deviations in the production process. Up to 10 different calibration curves can be programmed and with product identification and memory, turbidity meter allows for traceability of measuring data. A sample (cuvette or bottle) is placed in the measuring chamber, which is filled with water. The automatic measurement proceeds, positioning the sample and rotating it, making 100 measurements and calculating the average value. The measurement results can be exported to a PC and/or directly printed.

Bottle Washing Monitor Bottle Washing Monitor

Evaluating the cleaning of returnable bottles in breweries and soft drink production plants is an important aspect of quality assurance before filling. There is a significant risk that bottles might be contaminated by foreign substances. Bottle washing is therefore an essential process in packaging line. Our specialized Bottle Washing Monitor monitors the bottle washing process and measure both temperature and conductivity as a function of time. After the process is finished, an LED on the bottom of the monitor indicate whether the cleaning process met the requirements programmed in Bottle Washing Monitor. The measured data can be transferred to a PC. The software process the measured value  and displays it in graphical and tabular formats which can be printed and/or stored. Bottle Washing Monitor can be used in Bottle Filling Lines in Brewery and Beverage production
